HP Officejet Wireless Printer Setup

Step 1: Prepare for installation

Before connecting printer into wireless network you need to gather the following information

• Network Name(SSID - Service Set Identifier) and Password(WEP key or WPA security passphrase)

• Make sure the computer is connected to a wireless network

• Disconnect the USB or Ethernet Cable from the printer

Step 2: Connect the Printer To Wireless Connection

The wireless setup wizard provides the easy way to connect the printer to the wireless network

• On the printer control panel Touch the wireless button. It shows the wireless menu.

• In this menu, press the selection button near to Settings

• Scroll down the control panel screen and select the Restore Default

• Press OK button again for confirmation.

• Again, go to back to setting and select Wireless Setup Wizard

• The printer searches your wireless network by giving the wireless network name and password.

• Then, Follow the instructions to connect the printer to your wireless network.

Step 3: Download and Install HP Officejet Printer Software

• Download the software from 123.hp.com

• After download is completed and select the downloaded file from downloads folder

• Then follow the on-screen to complete the installation process.

• From the HP Utility Setup window, select your printer name, and then press Continue.

• Click Add Printer Button

• The Add Window displays on the screen

• In that window, Select your printer and click the Use or Print Use menu.

• Click Add to add the printer in the list and follow the on-screen instruction to complete the printer setup and then click done.
