Step 1: Prepare for installation
Before connecting printer into wireless network you need to gather the following information
Network Name(SSID - Service Set Identifier) and Password(WEP key or WPA security passphrase)
Make sure the computer is connected to a wireless network
Disconnect the USB or Ethernet Cable from the printer
Step 2: Connect the Printer To Wireless Connection
The wireless setup wizard provides the easy way to connect the printer to the wireless network
On the printer control panel Touch the wireless button. It shows the wireless menu.
In this menu, press the selection button near to Settings
Scroll down the control panel screen and select the Restore Default
Press OK button again for confirmation.
Again, go to back to setting and select Wireless Setup Wizard
The printer searches your wireless network by giving the wireless network name and password.
Then, Follow the instructions to connect the printer to your wireless network.
Step 3: Download and Install HP Officejet Printer Software
Download the software from 123.hp.com
After download is completed and select the downloaded file from downloads folder
Then follow the on-screen to complete the installation process.
From the HP Utility Setup window, select your printer name, and then press Continue.
Click Add Printer Button
The Add Window displays on the screen
In that window, Select your printer and click the Use or Print Use menu.
Click Add to add the printer in the list and follow the on-screen instruction to complete the printer setup and then click done.
