HP ePrint is a one the advanced technique for taking print from anywhere with an active internet connection. HP ePrint is based on Cloud Service is simply email the documents or photos directly to the printer. The following steps explain the HP ePrint setup.


Step 1: Analysis the HP ePrint setup Requirement:


  • Ensure your printer support ePrint (On the Control Panel it shows ePrint Icon, Button or Image)

  • Ensure your printer and System is connecting an active internet.


Step 2: Turn on Web Services from the Printer Control Panel


  • You can directly turn on the web service from your printer touchscreen and make sure the printer firmware is updated. If it's not updated then follow the given steps.

  • On the Printer Control Panel touch the HP ePrint icon

  • If your printer doesn’t show the ePrint icon then navigate to the Web Services Setup, Network Setup, or Wireless Settings to open Web Services menu.

  • If a prompt to turn on Web Services or Setup HP ePrint displays, select Turn On, Enable, or Setup, depending on your printer, continue the on-screen instructions, and then go to the next step.

  • If you are prompted to update the firmware, press OK.

  • If a Web Services Summary screen or connected status displays, Web Services is already on.

  • Touch Print Info, it displays an information sheet, and then continue to the next step.

Step 3: Get the Printer’s Email Address


  • After web service is turn on, wait for the printer to print the Make the Most of Your Printer or Important Printer Setup Instructions page. This information contains the web service details, Printer Email address, and Printer Claim Code.

Example: Printer Claim Code : 87ajush36evfi


Step 4: Printing with HP ePrint


  • Type the Printer’s Email id in “To” Field and subject in “Subject” field(don’t type “print” in subject field, it might discard the printer job)

  • The Total size of the email should be 10MB, including attachment.

  • The following document types are supported : ext (.txt), PDF, HTML, Microsoft Word (.doc and .docx), Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt and .pptx), and Microsoft Excel (.xls and .xlsx).

  • The Photo type : .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .png, and .tiff.
