First Time Printer Setup

The following steps explain the HP Officejet Printer setup for the first time.

Step 1: Remove the printer from the box

• Remove the printer from the box and remove

• Remove all tape and packing materials from the front and rear of the printer.

• Raise the scanner lid, and then remove the packing tape.

• Lower the scanner lid.

• Open the ink cartridge access door and place the ink cartridge in the slot.

Step 2: Connect the Power cords

• Connect the power cord to the rear of the printer, and then plug it into a wall outlet.

• Power on the Printer

• On the Printer Control Panel, select the language.

• Set the Country/region

Step 3: Load paper into the paper tray

Step 4: Install the Printer software.
