The Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) on the printer does not feed up paper.

First step must be checking the condition of the paper and reload it ADF input tray.
Following guidelines helps you to check the condition of the paper.
Remove the paper from the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)
Tap the bundle of paper on a flat surface to adjust the edges.
Insert the bulk of paper into the ADF input tray, when paper is loaded into the ADF,the printer display a message on the control panel or printer should make a sound or emit a flash from an LED.
Make sure the position of the paper in the input tray.
Try using the ADF again.
If the ADF picked all the sheets in the stack of paper, then start your copying or scanning job.
If the ADF did not pick all sheets in the stack of paper then clean the Automatic Document Feeder.
Step:2 Clean the ADF pickup rollers
Clean the accumulate dust, fiber, and other debris on the pickup rollers these may cause paper feed issue so clean the rollers inside the ADF.
Open the ADF cover.
Lightly moisten a clean, lint-free cloth with distilled or bottled water to clean the ADF cover, Rollers and Separator pad.

Close the ADF cover.
Try using the ADF again.
If the ADF did not pick the paper, continue to the next step.
Step 3:Reset the printer
Resetting the printer can solve a problem.
Turn off the printer
Unplug the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Disconnect the power cord from electrical outlet.
Wait for 1 minute.
Reconnect the power cord into the electrical outlet.
Plug the power cord to the rear of the printer.
Try using the ADF again.
