Steps for Setting up the Printer:
Step 1: Unpack The Printer From The Box
Remove the printer from the box remove all the Stickers, Package materials from the printer.
The content may vary by country/region. Check the printer package for the list of the item shipped in the box.
Remove the printer from the box.
Remove all the Stickers, Package materials from the printer.
Open the output tray, inside the printer, grasp the handle and open the cartridge door.
Step 2: Connect Your Hp Deskjet Printer Power Cord And Then Switch On The Printer.
NOTE: Do not connect a USB cable at this time: The Connection to the Computer is set only during Driver and Software Installation.
Connect the Deskjet Printer power cord to the back side of the printer, and then connect the other end of the power cord to the electrical outlet.
Switch on the power button to ON the printer.
Step 3: Install The Cartridge Ink.
Hold the handle and OPEN the ink cartridge access door.
The carriage that moves to the center of the printer.
Wait till the printer is inactive and still before you continue.
Remove the ink cartridge from the pack. NOTE: Should touch only the black plastic of the ink cartridge.
Remove the plastic tape. Hold the ink cartridge nozzles towards the printer side and fix it in a proper slot.
The black ink cartridge should be inserted in the right slot.
The tri-color cartridge should be inserted in the left slot.
Slide the new ink cartridge in an upward direction into the empty slot and push up gently until it fixes.
Close the cartridge door.
Step 4: Load Paper Into The Input Tray.
Open the input tray.
Insert the A4 paper into the input tray.
Remove any paper that is different from other paper sizes before loading it to the printer, then the paper with the guide to the left as much as possible.
Lower the output tray and pull out the output extender.
Step 5: Ink Cartridge Alignment:
OPEN the scanner lid.
Alignment page is placed on the scanner glass and position it.
Close the scanner lid and press OK.
